Patron Profile: Kotori Naba
My
Bio
Patron Name: Kotori Naba
Birthday: June 23
Astrological Sign: Libra
Blood Type: O
Age: 14
Height: 5'3"
Build: very slender
Likes: Comfortable clothes, stuffed animals, sleep, dancing
in the rain, singing when no one is looking, acting, books, and strawberries.
Dislikes: Stinky breath, snakes, waking up early, bad
books, and her uniform.
Personality: A rather odd girl of sorts. One moment she'll
be quiet and observant, and the next she becomes spontaneous and flamboyant.
In other words, she's unpredictable. (Perhaps that's why she acts in the
Drama Club. She needed an activity to vent out her feelings.) When Kotori
is just being reserved, sometimes she'll suggest and/or suddenly talk
about something that has nothing to do about the subject on hand. The
subjects can range from stating random weird facts to asking really strange
questions like, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck
could chuck wood? (Dude, who can answer THAT?) Kotori can also space out
at times.
On the other hand, she'll act even MORE randomly when she decides to
be loud and wild. Give her something to play with and she'll be squeeing
over it like there's no tomorrow. Make her angry and she'll stretch your
cheeks or have some random object in her vicinity thrown at your head.
(Knowing her, it could be anything.) Kotori usually isn't loud, but she
reinforces this part of her personality to get her point across when she
feels no one is listening.
Overall, she is rather sweet and caring despite her odd ways. She hates
seeing anyone be sad or crying especially if it's her fault and does the
best she can to cheer up the person. Kotori genuinely cares about people
and tries not to be judgmental.

Other Information: Kotori Naba has a reason for her nearly
black and white personality. When she was young, she did not talk till
she was five years old.
Then she chattered so much, people, and even her own parents found her
annoying and ignored her. She immediately realized this and shut herself
up once again. When she entered school, the other kids thought she was
an oddball cause she almost never talked. Kotori was confused. She had
no idea what people wanted her to be and meeting up to everyone's expectations
was always tiring. She just wanted to know who she was inside.
She generally got along with others while growing up, but never really
had true friends. But everything changed when she enters into Ouran High
School as a freshman and took up acting in the Drama Club. Kotori has
newfound confidence, but she feels like she's missing something... And
that's when she overheard of the Host Club and it's charming men. Intrigued,
she decided to explore a bit and got a lot more than she bargained for.
Family: Her father is a novelist as well as a writer/illustrator for
children's books. Her mother is a part time actress. Kotori is much more
closer with her father then her mother who she feels she has a gap with.
Her father Tomohiko makes her feel much more secure while her mother Yukino
makes her feel rather inadequate.
However, she admires her mother's work as an actress and began taking
on the activity finding much joy in it.
P.S. For the record, she's not even a 'boy-love' fan. She just likes
the twins antics for some reason.
Just one more interesting aspect to Kotori-chan. Much to her parent's
dismay, she has a Kansai dialect and tends to use slang. Her speech isn't
very eloquent so to speak.
For example, her 'san' sounds like 'han' and 'chan' turns out as 'yan.'
She likes her accent though.
