Personality: “A pain in the ass” is what he could generally be classified as personality-wise. Croix is really rough around the edges with a nearly non-existent “soft-spot” for the unfortunate. Lady Luck never dealt him any really good cards in life; but the one thing she DID happen to bless him with was a strong resolution and a no-nonsense attitude. He’s more down to earth than most people, and even though he often plays the bully it’s because he can’t comprehend why people constantly bitch about things they don’t have and never realize how fortunate they are with the things they DO have.

Other Information: Croix’s been an orphan for as long as he can remember. Originally born in Florence, Italy, he’s hopped foster homes more times than he cares to remember. This has caused him to live in countries like France, England, Russia, until finally Japan ended up being his last stop. Sometimes it was a matter of finding another foster home since the current one was so full. He managed to reach Japan when he was fifteen and finally said “Enough is enough!” He found himself part-time work until he saved up enough money to buy a closet of a ghetto apartment with one room where he sleeps and pisses. Since then he’s been on his own when he finally ‘ran off’ at seventeen.

He almost got married at one point to a girl named Maki Hashimoto, but naturally the parents of his fiancé didn’t approve and eventually moved out of the country to America where the mother had a new job opportunity. Since then Croix has been very “hands off” in regards to dealing with girlfriends. He has no problem being rude and vulgar to girls since more often than not they end up annoying the piss out of him. A good lay is all he cares about, and unless a girl is willing to be of service to that need, there’s really not much else he wants to deal with.

Mori High School has been the most recent level of education that he’s enrolled himself in. He realizes that school is important, but doesn’t give a crap about it. Nothing about it tends to interest him, which is why he does so poorly and is now considered a “Second Year Senior”. When Croix applies his focus on a topic, he’s actually quite brilliant, and has a very intuitive sense of street smarts. But you’ll never see him acing ANYTHING in a classroom setting. In fact, a ‘C’ (or in Japan’s case, a ’65 point’) grade is probably the biggest accomplishment he’ll ever achieve. His views on life are what doom him to this type of fate. It’s also because he spends more time working than going to school. In the realm of survival, basic needs come before education.

Things turned sour when Mori High was destroyed and everyone was moved to Ouran. Not only is the school more out of the way than before, but it’s an environment that he’s totally not accustomed to. Luckily, he’s not the only Mori-student that thinks Ouran’s a self-indulgent place of pampered over-spoiled rich pussies. Politics and influence is not a game Croix likes to play, and he knows when he’s not in ‘his territory’. As much as he doesn’t like making waves, sometimes he can’t help it.
